webcool is an all-in-one private file management ecosystem — a browser console plus iOS/Android mobile apps. Built on the high-performance acl networking framework, it helps you manage files and media securely on your own infrastructure.

What We Build

webcool delivers virtual and local disk management, tag organization, media preview, video editing and enhancement, AI photo restoration, backup migration, and lock protection — with mobile album backup, LAN discovery, and video casting.

The server runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows — your data stays on your own servers and private network.

Design Philosophy

Lightweight, not basic — more than upload/download, connecting file management, media use, security, and long-term operations.

Self-hosted, data sovereignty, cross-platform access — turning home servers, workstations, and private clouds into practical personal file hubs.

The webcool server is built on the acl framework, extending the author's expertise in infrastructure and high-concurrency systems to deliver a stable, efficient backend for private file management.
